Easter Cuties

Mommy, save me!

After multiple unsuccessful atempts at cutting Travis's hair on my own, I decided to bite the bullet, ignore the outrageous cost and enlist the help of the professionals at Cartoon Cuts. This was Travis's first "real" haircut and it turned out to be an adorable, albeit heartwrenching, scene. He kept crying this helpless cry with a "Mommy, save me" expression in his face. Of course, sympathetic Mom couldn't resist pulling out her camera and capturing the moment for future blackmailing opportunities. He just looked too darn cute!

Terrible Twos Already

So, while the girls were at preschool today, I decided to take advantage of only having one kid to drag around and hit Wallmart to buy Easter goodies. Usually, this is a good time to shop. Well, not today. Travis threw his first, big, public temper tantrum because I wouldn't let him have an Elmo kite that he saw. It was the full-fledged, throw yourself on the ground kind of temper tantrum. So, I am trying to hold Travis to calm him down and he is fighting me, trying to get to the dirty Wallmart floor, while screaming at the top of his lungs. It was loads of fun! Needless to say, we didn't get very much shopping done today.
